The Streets of Rome Photo Journey
$50.00

This limited run of prints brings you the streets of Rome like you’ve never seen them — quiet, uncompromising, and electric. These images shy away from the postcard spectacle and instead linger in the city’s lesser-known corners, where narrow alleys, timeworn facades, and hidden courtyards stage a perpetual duel between light and shadow. Each frame captures that precise instant when a shaft of sun carves a new story from stone, when silhouettes and textures reveal the city’s raw personality. Shot with purpose and an eye for solitude, this collection is for those who prefer discovery over spectacle — a bold, intimate tribute to the Eternal City’s secret life. Limited edition prints; once they’re gone, these views are gone too.

Newfoundland Wild: A Guided Photography Adventure
$5,000.00

Discover Newfound the way few ever do: where the map fades into tracks, the trees crowd the road, and every turn demands a 4x4 and a serious appetite for the wild. This is not a sightseeing tour. This is a photo adventure for people who don’t wait for permission to chase light.

Why choose this journey?

  • Untouched vistas: We target the little-seen corners of Newfound—rugged ridgelines, hidden coves, moss-draped gullies, and alpine tarns that don’t appear in guidebooks. These are landscapes reserved for those willing to leave paved comfort behind.

  • 4x4 access only: Narrow, washed-out tracks, steep gravel descents, and river-forded approaches are part of the recipe. Your vehicle becomes a tool of discovery, opening routes others can only dream about.

  • Photographic payoff: Dawn and dusk here are cinematic—fractal fog hugging the valleys, late-season color along shale benches, and vantage points that put foreground interest within meters of dramatic mountain backdrops. Every stop is a composition waiting to be owned.

  • Nature-hungry experience: This is for people who want more than pretty postcards. Expect raw weather, unexpected wildlife, and the satisfaction of earning a frame. You’ll learn to read the land—how to find the shot where light, texture, and scale collide.

What you’ll get

  • Expert-led scouting: Guides who know where the crowds never go, how to approach fragile spots without disturbing them, and how to time access for peak light.

  • Practical 4x4 instruction: Safe off-road driving basics and route tactics so you can focus on shooting rather than stressing about the approach.

  • Composition-focused coaching: Rapid, hands-on guidance on foregrounds, exposure blending, and maximizing dynamic range in challenging conditions.

  • Small-group intensity: Limited spots ensure remote access, minimal footprint, and focused feedback from pros who push you to improve fast.

Who this is for

  • Adventurous photographers who prefer grit to glamor.

  • Seasoned off-road drivers who crave photographic returns.

  • Nature lovers who want to experience Newfound’s quieter, more honest places.

Expectations

  • Bring a capable 4x4 or reserve one through us; some routes require high clearance and confident handling.

  • Prepare for variable weather and uneven terrain—sturdy boots, layered clothing, and a hunger for exploration are mandatory.

  • Respect the landscape: we practice Leave No Trace and prioritize sensitive-site protocols.

The payoff Return with images others can’t replicate: layered compositions from abandoned logging tracks, river-swept foregrounds under sky-melt light, moody forests where shafts of sun reveal ancient textures. More than photographs, you’ll leave with stories earned in the dirt, wind, and cold—proof that you went where most won’t.

Ready to trade the beaten path for the only road that matters? Reserve your seat on a Newfound 4x4 Photo Adventure and claim the corners of the map most people never see.

Hi, I’m Matt.

I've spent two decades helping destinations tell their stories. Now I tell them through the lens.

Before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I was deep in destination marketing—working with visitor bureaus, tourism boards, and the people whose job it is to make you fall in love with a place. I learned what makes a destination image actually work: not just beautiful, but true. The kind of photograph that makes someone book the trip.

These days, I spend 100+ nights a year on the road. My 4Runner and overland trailer have become a mobile basecamp, chasing light from West Texas canyons to Pacific coast fog. I shoot with a Nikon Zf because I like gear that feels intentional—mechanical, deliberate, built to last.

I'm based in Fort Worth, but "based" is a loose term. Home is wherever I've parked for the night, boots off, editing the day's work while the coffee's still hot.

What I'm after isn't the postcard shot. It's the one that captures why a place matters—the texture, the quiet, the specific quality of light at 6 AM when no one else is awake yet.

This is where the work lives.
